Come Set A Spell Painting

This is a photo I took a number of years ago and posted as a daily (last year, I think). But today I used Corel's Painter Essentials 4 to make an oil painting of it. It isn't apparent in the regular view size, but if you look in larger sizes, you can see the oil painting effect. I then went back in and touched up some of it.

Furminated Samson

Ah, Sam. Someday we will look back on this and laugh. Remember the day I furminated an entire pomeranian (or two) off you? The spring 'blow out' is just one of those things . . .

And no - none of this is from cutting his fur in any way! I didn't even get to trimming his feet or anything else. This is just from raking his undercoat. His spring blow out this year is just nuts. Hair everywhere! I think he will be much more comfortable now, though.

Spring break this week, so hopefully (*crosses fingers*) I will have time to look at all your lovely photos I've been missing!

Mayo Lake

Here is my ummm... monthly .... shot. I just can't keep up with a daily by any means this year, unfortunately. This is about all I can manage and keep my head above water! So sad to have missed all your beautiful dailies and I hope to have time this coming weekend to peruse them.
