July 17, 2011 Swamp Ghost I went to the NC Zoo in Asheboro today with a friend and his son. We had a wonderful time but it wore me out! I thought the most interesting animals there were the albino alligators. The zoo bills them as "Swamp Ghosts" and there is a story behind them that they bring luck.
