July 6, 2012 Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden I took this the first weekend in May at my cousin's wedding (yes, and am just now getting to processing the images). They had an official photog, so I was just snapping for pleasure and extra photos. April 16, 2012 Japanese Gardens, Duke Gardens, Easter This is a quick snap from Easter last Sunday. We took our usual picnic to Duke Gardens to enjoy the beautiful weather and people watch. This is a bridge at the Japanese Gardens part of Duke Gardens. It is such a gorgeous place.
2/10/11 Raulston Arboretum Rooftop Garden, North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC March 2009 Dipping into the files today. The 'daily' photo for 2011 has been even more elusive than I had thought - hence the file dipping. That and I needed a shot of spring. :) I saw some other shots stuffed way back in the files that I may pull out for more infusions of spring in the upcoming days, too! This was a beautiful early March day two years ago when my son and I wandered around NC State's beautiful arboretum. While the landscaping and plants were lovely, I mostly remember enjoying time with my son.
November 9, 2010 Flamingo Garden No big fancy shot today - just flamingos! These were in a garden display at the NC State Fair last month. I thought they were hilarious and had to get a shot of them!
